Hello! I am a PhD candidate in Decision Processes at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Knowledge sharing is critical for organizational success, but people often fail to seek out and share information effectively. I study barriers to effective knowledge sharing, focusing on whom people turn to for advice, how they ask for it, and the advice people give. I use a mix of experiments and field data—including workplace emails and Reddit posts—to uncover when and why information exchange breaks down and identify strategies for improving communication in the workplace.
